All Hallows’ Eve. Samhain. Spooky Season. Halloween.
No matter what you call it, this time of year represents something far greater than gathering candy and watching scary movies. It’s a time of transformation. A time when we can be something more than ourselves.
At AKC, we’re proud to be able to help businesses transform and shed their preconceived notions.
We were lucky enough to get that chance with three historic venues. These once great institutions needed more than a rebrand; they needed a rebirth. With our help, they were resurrected into something greater than before, and we see nothing but more time in the limelight for each one going forward.
Camp Crystal Lake
Established in 1935, this historic and tranquil summer camp has played host to countless tweens and teens looking to bask in the beauty of the lake-side establishment. Admittedly, there have been some hiccups along the way and the camp has overcome each one, despite closing and opening several times over the years.
We were over the moon when we got the chance to bring this great camp back from the dead.
With a fresh, revamped look, including new brochures and promotional material, the picturesque camp is once again ready to welcome visitors — whether for the summer, or forever.
No brand refresh is complete without some new new marketing materials, promotional items and semi-sharp implements to keep on your desk!
What better way to attract new victims guests than with a well-thought-out brochure, complete with a list of activities that are sure to take your breath away!
Our revamped cafeteria, complete with a weekly themed menu, is sure to quiet that hunger within. This newly designed eatery is sure to put the "mess" in mess hall.
We even put the year of your survival stay on the back!
The Overlook Hotel
Built in a secluded section of the Rocky Mountains from 1907 to 1910, The Overlook Hotel has seen its fair share of history.
Staffing has always been an issue at the scenic, snow-covered locale. But, with our help, and a slew of fresh activities for guests to partake in, the hotel finally has its old spirit back.
Our renewed focus on the guest experience — both corporeal and incorporeal — will make sure the Overlook is anything but!
To have a successful business venture, you need to have something that separates you from the competition (and maybe some other things). By offering special activities for twins, we're getting a 2 for 1 ROI!
A hotel spa is blah. Everyone worth their salt has one. A hotel spa in your room (and a special one in room 237) can really help you rest in peace.
The Amityville House
What do you do with a large Dutch Colonial Revival house that has been uninhabited for decades? You flip it and turn it into a an Air B&B of course!
While we didn’t help with construction, we were paramount to the rebranding of the beautiful Long Island home.
From the relaxing pool and waterside vistas to the not-so-private rooms, this unique house is perfect for the family looking to “find themselves” and get away from it all…
Check out the listing and promotional materials!
Like with any real estate, its location, location, location. And this historic house has that in spades.
But even with a location where people are dying to get in, how do you attract some fresh, livelier guests? By highlighting the house amenities of course!
If you haven't figured it out yet. We're big on testimonials. Real reviews from real people. With this one, we asked them what they found unique about their stay.
You can't always get 5 stars, and that's OK! Even these less than stellar reviews help. They lend authenticity to the listing and still highlight the benefits for early risers! I mean, not all of us sleep like the dead.
